This unique creative play-scape gets kids creating land art of large scale geometric patterns using planks made from gemstone inspired linoleum covered closed cell foam.
Using the booklet for inspiration there are designs to follow or kids can use their imagination to create their own patterns and shapes. Each plank is cut to specific sizes from an original hexagon. The patterns possible are visually striking and create the optical illusion of being 3 dimensional. Drawing on problem solving and logistical skills along with creativity and fine and gross motor skills, kids can work independently or collaboratively to make the artworks. Several artworks can be made at one time.
Signage, reference booklet and supervision provided. Minimum space required 5 x 7m.
