The Floor is lava!
Watch out! The Floor is LAVA! This is a pop up play-scape everyone recognises instantly! A realistic 20 metre lava flow printed on durable recycled lycra is placed in the space. Using a series of interlocking bridges and stepping stones the challenge is to build your escape route and make your way across the lava flow to 'safety' on the other end. Will you keep your balance? How will you build your route? Promoting gross motor skills, balance, co-ordination and collaboration, this playscape allows attendees to participant in open ended, fun and physical challenge. With an emphasis on collaboration, and degrees of difficulty to suit all ages, this playscape gets kids moving and practising their balancing skills, in a super fun stand out activity. There are many ways to interact with this play scape depending on the number and age of participants. Smaller groups can build pathways themselves and even use a timer to signal when “the floor is lava”. Larger crowds benefit from a pre determined pathway and balancing and speed challenges.
Space required is flexible and can fit to your area. Lava flow can be configured as large as 20 x 5 metre space, or a smaller 10 x 3 metre space or anything in between. We set up on the day to work to the space. Comes with signage, supervision and facilitation.
